Self confidence is the feeling of how confident (self assured?) you feel. Your perception of yourself has an enormous impact on how others perceive you. Perception is reality — the more self confidence you have, the more likely it is you’ll succeed.
Some useful strategies to build your self confidence-
Smile on your face makes you feel better and when the other person see's you smiling it gives a pleasant impression of you. “Because of your smile, you make life more beautiful.”
Smiling is much more than just a facial expression. The simple act of smiling releases feel-good endorphins, improves circulation to the face, makes you feel good about yourself in general and can definitely increase your self confidence.
2. Dress sharp
The first impression is always the best impression, clothes give an edge to this impression that you create on yourself and on others. When you don't look good, it changes the way you carry yourself and interact with other people. Personal appearance makes lot of difference and use it to your best advantage.Make sure you dress well which automatically has a great impact on your self confidence.
3. Good Posture
Similarly, the way a person carries herself tells a story. People with slumped shoulders and lethargic movements display a lack of self confidence. They aren't enthusiastic about what they’re doing and they don’t consider themselves important. By practicing good posture, you’ll automatically feel more confident. Stand up straight, keep your head up, throw back your shoulders and make eye contact. You’ll make a positive impression on others and instantly feel more alert and empowered.
4. Work out
Physical fitness has a huge effect on self confidence. If you’re out of shape, you’ll feel insecure, unattractive, and less energetic. By working out, you improve your physical appearance, energize yourself, and accomplish something positive. Having the discipline to work out not only makes you feel better, it creates positive momentum that you can build on the rest of the day.
In this fast moving world, keep some time aside for yourself to make you feel calm, peaceful, energetic and to enhance your spirit. This gives lots of self confidence .Spend time with yourself in deep silence and explore the beauty of creation under the shower of bliss from HIM.
Cultivate the habit of reading good books which will in turn introduce you to many new ideas. Read motivational and self help books which will boost your self confidence.
